I Need Help With My Gibson Cheet Atkins Guitar?
I have a 1987 Gibson Chet Atkins CEC guitar, I have owned it for around 9 months and around 7 months ago i put a set of Salverez Medium Tention strings, I put them on my self and they sounded great. And just last week i put a new set of La'bella Extra High Tention on my guitar myself. And now the to string buzzes really badly, It's not even playable how much the string buzzes now. And i think all the rest of the strings also buzz just not as much as the top E string. Does anyone know what i did wrong or what i should do or any kind of advice. Please let me know. Thanks
Changing string guages will do that. Take it to a pro and get it set up for whatever strings you want to use. You can try raising the bridge a little, but it will probably still buzz, and now your action is probably higher than you want it. Take it to a pro.
